Colors Belgium

Portrait Photography, design and Film Director

Through two videos I directed and edited, Colors Belgium exposes the deep impact of racism on identity. The first video examines its social and cultural roots, while the second takes a more intimate approach, revealing the unseen trauma children endure when reduced to racial stereotypes. This loss of identity raises critical questions about integration, assimilation, and self-perception in a world shaped by discrimination.

Complementing this, a series of spontaneous natural-light portraits captures raw emotion and resilience in the face of xenophobia and injustice. Each face tells a unique story of courage and hope, embodying a generation that refuses to stay silent. In collaboration with Equal Belgium, this project promotes awareness, education, and meaningful change.
