On February 1, 2024, I witnessed an unprecedented agricultural demonstration in Brussels. Streets were blocked, and over a thousand tractors converged around the European institutions – a scene I never thought I would witness. My objective was simple: venture into the main thoroughfares, then in front of the European Parliament, seeking to capture the moment and share a raw visual experience. Despite some sporadic tensions between protesters and law enforcement, my work was merely a personal attempt to comprehend and immortalize this day, to grasp the essence of a moment without altering its reality. By sharing these images, I aim to provide a visual exploration, a testimony, a snapshot of a day where the unexpected became captivating.
